As we enter the new year, we are busy planning and preparing for the 2025 season. There will be a host of new plants coming!
We hope to grow 7 new varieties of begonia, including a new Proven Winner rex begonia- Space Age Black Hole.
There will be numerous spreading petunia intros, including 5 new PW Supertunias. We are also adding some PW dahlias, and 2 new PW verbena. There are 3 colors of lisianthus coming for our cut flower folks. Lavender Hidcote Blue is also new for us.
There will be new edibles as well- we are adding a no heat jalapeno to our pepper lineup, and several new tomatoes. We are adding okra and ground cherries, summer savory and marjoram, as well as day neutral bare root strawberries.

The Steckles' started farming as newlyweds in 1992, continuing their families’ tradition of agriculture. Gradually, their kitchen and flower gardens expanded, the hobby greenhouse was replaced by multiple larger ones, and the vegetable garden moved out of the back yard and into the farm fields.
