Greenhouse & Farm Market
Growing high-quality food is not just a business, but a way of life. As farmers, we are motivated by a deep love for the land and a desire to share the goodness of homegrown food with you and your family. Visit us, and experience the benefits of choosing family-farm fresh.
What's New?
Although it doesn't feel like it out there, planting season has begun. If your ground is dry, it is time to plant your dormant strawberry plants. Peas and onions, as well as lettuce and kale can be planted now. These all do better with a cool start.
We are starting to see colour on our hanging baskets! Mother's Day weekend is a good time to choose baskets and plants, before they are all picked over. Be careful about planting frost sensitive things until after Victoria Day.
Our Farm
The Steckles' started farming as newlyweds in 1992, continuing their families’ tradition of agriculture. Gradually, their kitchen and flower gardens expanded, the hobby greenhouse was replaced by multiple larger ones, and the vegetable garden moved out of the back yard and into the farm fields.
