What's New?
Although it doesn't feel like it out there, planting season has begun. Dormant strawberry plants, peas and onions, as well as lettuce and kale can be planted now. These all do better with a cool start.
Mid May is when we have the best selection of plants, but be careful about planting frost sensitive things until after Victoria Day.

Our Farm
The Steckles' started farming as newlyweds in 1992, continuing their families’ tradition of agriculture. Gradually, their kitchen and flower gardens expanded, the hobby greenhouse was replaced by multiple larger ones, and the vegetable garden moved out of the back yard and into the farm fields.
