At Steckle’s spring arrives before winter has left. In February, the first rooted cuttings and seeds are planted. While snow swirls outside, we bask in the scent of soil and growing things.
Our greenhouses open up April 1st, but we still plant and transplant all through the month. To see the best selection, come see us early May.

Bring your favorite planters, tell us how much sun they will get and what your color preferences are, and we will plant and grow your pots until Victoria Day.
We accept orders beginning April 1st, right through spring.
